MANUEL OROPEZA

Manuel Oropeza is a Venezuelan director and cinematographer, and a member of the AVC (Association of Venezuelan Cinematographers). With an extensive career spanning film, commercials, documentaries, and music videos, he is deeply committed to visual excellence and the power of storytelling to create emotional connections with any audience. A graduate with honors in Social Communication from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, his passion for cinema led him to specialize in Cinematography at the Escuela Nacional de Cine in Caracas. He later advanced his studies in Audiovisual Direction at the ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid) in Spain. Over the last decade, his work has focused on creating high-quality content and unique visual experiences. Through compelling narratives and imagery, he aims to inspire viewers and deliver impactful, lasting messages. His documentary work, 0212 Generation, gained international recognition, earning a selection for the Milan Fashion Film Festival in 2018 and coverage in various national and international magazines. He has also directed pieces for global brands such as Empresas Polar, Nestlé, Pepsi, UNICEF, and Hyundai.
